I am very new to wordpress. I thought i wanted to build a blog here but it turns out it would be much easier for me just to build it on blogger. Problematically, I purchased my domain from wordpress. Simply put, I want to keep my domain but completely move it off of wordpress and use it for my blogger blog. I don’t want to have any more to do with wordpress. I’m sure it is a great site for experienced bloggers but it’s not for me. Can someone in verrrrry simply, like 4th grader, terms tell me how to do this. Thanks for any type of help. I appreciate it

I need to know this too! I need to delete my WordPress blog but keep the domain. Is this possible?

If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers
