Our blog doesn’t work well with firefox: the photos seems to move, the music players lost their url connections… It’s horrible

You can see the differences watching the blog in IE or Chrome, where the theme Daisy works well.

    Thanks by your attention,
    paul

The blog I need help with is revivalismoesussurros.wordpress.com.

Hi Paul, I see some video players overlapping with images or otherwise not displaying correctly. To fix that, try switching to the HTML/Text editor on the problematic posts and add this bit of code just before the video embeds that aren’t displaying correctly.

    <div style="clear: both;"></div>

Could you explain more what you mean by this: “the music players lost their url connections” and link to a specific post where it’s an issue? Thanks!

    Hi Kath.
At this point I do not have the firefox installed. I can only try here for some time.
With the URL the problem is solved.

Another problem that we face is when we write any phrase in the middle of the image , after we publish the post , the phrase is always near the beginning of photography. What should we do?

The Team of Kelly Theme don’t try to solve this problems with firefox and the text near photos, so as not to use constant terms codes?

There is another similar theme with less hassles?

Could you please provide a link to a post where this is an issue so I can take a look directly and help find a solution.

    Thanks for the link.

I’m not seeing any obvious layout errors. Here’s a screenshot of what I see in Firefox:

Could you please upload a screenshot to help in troubleshooting.

Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot:

You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library so I can see it. Thanks.

    Hi

The code <div style=”clear: both;”></div> “moved” the photos in chrome and IE posts. For exemple In firefox everything is Ok. https://revivalismoesussurros.wordpress.com/2015/07/06/ric-ocasek-emotion-in-motion/

The problem with phrases is visible at all browers. For exemple, in your screenshot, I wrote “Um tema gravado e escrito em 1958” at the middle of the photo. When I publish the post, The phrase is always at the first line!!! That’s the problem. I want a phrase at the 3rd line, at the end of the pic but it doesn’t works.
I think I should change the theme. But what theme is similar?
    Thanks.

Here are some free single-column themes you might like to have a look at:

    https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/one-column/type/free/

    They include:

    https://twentythirteendemo.wordpress.com/
    https://intergalacticdemo.wordpress.com/
    https://syntaxdemo.wordpress.com/

For exemple, in your screenshot, I wrote “Um tema gravado e escrito em 1958” at the middle of the photo.

You might want to try using the built-in photo captions, instead of trying to align text with photos manually, which can be a bit tricky in any theme.

The code <div style=”clear: both;”></div> “moved” the photos in chrome and IE posts.

I’m not sure why that would have happened, but try flipping to HTML/Text view and moving the photo back above the video where it was originally, above the clearing div tag.
