  1. This is a common sense blog, rather than firebrand partisan politics. Instead of raging against one party, and defending another, this is a criticism of nonsense and the support of common sense. Named for Thomas Paine's indictment of British rule, Common Sense, published around the time of the American Revolution.

    I'd like some suggestions, harsh criticisms, etc.

  2. Great blog. One thing I'd suggest, since your focus is on criticism of current illogical beliefs and an emphasis on common sense, as you said, is that you include your references when you provide hard numbers. That way if you get someone reading your blog you disagrees, whether on a particular fact or just the issue at large, you have some backup beyond "this is the logical way to look at something". It's just a good way to protect your arguments from being picked apart by someone whose only technique is to call you out.
