  1. Some people disable like post button on their blog. What's the logic? Is this some kind of anti-spam or is this only to frustrate people like me?

The blog I need help with is

  2. I've done this on a blog I had before. My reason, though this won't be everyone's, is that I prefer to have comments with content rather than just people clicking a button. For me, comments lead to discussion and like button clicks, don't.

By the way - I like your new pic! :)

If someone wants to like me, Why not? Honestly, who doesn't want to be liked? I take it for what it is...I notice the ones that indiscriminately like everyone and everything and whose gravatars are plastered all over.

I especially notice and especially appreciate and welcome the comments I get. Almost all of them are thoughtful and intelligent and truly add to the conversation.

I do sometimes like without commenting but that is seldom and it is because I felt at the time that I could not add anything so I didn't. To each is own and really if someone doesn't want to deal with likes or comments or spammers or whatever they should not have to.

  4. That doesn't sound well. I can see the like option active on good blogs like that of TT, rain, etc. Forcing people to comment instead of clicking a button is not a fair thing.
    Thanks :)

  5. Hi everybody. I'm pretty new here. So I don't know much about how it goes around here but if anybody wants to like my writing's be my guest...comments are good too.
