Linked Blogs

In the dashboard, under the tab "My Blogs", there are three Linked Blogs listed. These linked blogs are irrelevant and not used any longer. I do not want them listed or on my dashboard as linked. How can I remove them or have them removed?

    Thank you.

The blog I need help with is soulfulmindfullife.wordpress.com.

  2. Hello there,

To permanently delete your blogs you have empty them first of all. Here's a quick guide on how to do it.

Once done this, go to My Sites>Settings, scroll till the bottom of the page and select Delete Site. On the next screen, there will be a yellow bar confirming the address of the blog you're about to delete. Click the Delete Site button again.
Confirm the deletion by clicking the final Delete Site button.

    Please note that:

    • Only the Blog administrator can delete the blog(s)
    • ;

    • Once you confirm the deletion, you will never be able to come back and you won't be able to you your blog's URL (es. yourblog.wordpress.com) again.

Hope all is clear. Please get in touch if you need any further support.
    Cheers!

I'm sorry, this does not make sense. I do not care to wipe out my WordPress blog. I did not add those linked sites, they just appeared there for some reason. Those websites are not WordPress.com blogs and are hosted websites (Blue Host with WordPress and Pro Photo formats). I will be closing those sites to the public soon but they will still be viable/visible for me as I save stuff---this being a project for months. Therefore, I do not want them listed as "Linked Blogs." I just want those three Linked Blogs removed from My Blogs, if possible, and without affecting the function of those websites.

  4. I had a self-hosted blog listed as well on My Sites and by doing the above I managed to get it rid of the list.
If they've got the Jetpack connected you may need to disconnect them to make them disappear from the list.

I've tagged the thread for Staff attention anyway since it looks like I'm not able to help you further. They can remove your blogs, so please be patient meanwhile :)

I figured out how to disconnect Jetpack with my sites. This does removes from the Linked Blogs list. Got it!

Thanks so much for your help!

  6. You're welcome! Glad you managed to sort that out without any further help. Best wishes :)

  7. Nice work @stefaniamattana :) Cheers all!
