Having duplicate content on the web is a really bad idea. Search engines see that and think “spam blog” (splog) and will whack the search engine rank on both blogs.
My suggestion is when you want to reference from one blog to the other either do a “reblog” with an excerpt or write a post with an introduction and the have a link to the other.
You really don’t want to anger the g00g.
Good point – didn’t think of that.
What I’d really like to do is copy just one post w/comments to the new blog as it pertains directly to the subject I’m writing about. Is there a way to do that?
I can always reference my first blog in the “about me” section.
Thank you for your help. It is appreciated.

I’m with TSP on this. There’s no way I will create duplicate content. There is no automatic way to copy a single post from one blog to the other blog aside from using “reblogging” or using Press This as TSP advises.
The only other alternative is to copy and paste an excerpt of the original post in the first blog into into a new post in the second blog and backlink to the article in the first blog.
Kind of thought that was the case, but I had to ask. Should have saved the post for the new blog!
Thanks to both of you for the help/information.
Best wishes with your blogging starrygir1 :)
