good day. I am trying to link each image in a gallery to a separate page within and outside the blog. The feature does not seem to be available! Individually, images link ok, but once in a gallery – forget it. I need a slide show and a mosaic of images, each linked to a separate page.
    thank you

The blog I need help with is permacultureinstitute.wordpress.com.

The images are already in your Media Library that are in your gallery. When you go to create a new separate page add your individual images by clicking Add Media.

Look for “Insert an Image You Have Already Uploaded” on this link.

what I need, is a gallery that has EACH image linked to a PAGE. that is not the same as individual images insert. Though I am told that perhaps inserting a TABLE of individual images will allow for linking to PAGES.
For whatever reason this is made so difficult…..

    Hi,

I would also like an answer to this question. To clarify, the goal is for viewers to have the ability to click on a gallery image which connects them directly to the post for that image.

    Thanks,

    Michelle

    Thanks Jennifer:)

I don’t know anything about HTML. I tried searching the forums. Would you be able to help me?

@badjuda1 – Just be aware that the theme you are using “Yoko” is a responsive theme. An HTML table is possible but not preferable.

Please look at the resources at the bottom of the page here:
    http://agallerydemo.wordpress.com/parent-page/child-page-1/grandchild-page/

If you have any questions after that, please create a new forum thread for assistance.

You can make tables which function well in responsive themes, but you need to code them so that the tables are as flexible as the themes.

    Panos has information here:
    http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2013/04/09/table-coding-for-wordpress-com-users/

And the Yoko theme has other features which probably make such tables un-needed.

Thanks tess. Panos’ post is indeed already linked on my site above.

Also, what other features does Yoko have that I have overlooked?
