After was added my blog to a subdomain my external links are not working. If you have a look on my blog here http://home.closerthanmost.com/ and try to click the links ie. shop instead of going to big cartel it stays on my subdomain and is causing havoc with the browsers.

Ive also noticed that even though my wordpress is pointed at the subdomain that it still won’t let me configure it in my wordpress account. Help! I’m losing money each hour because of it!

Now its stating on my wordpress that its configured but it is’nt work atall when i select it as my primary domain.

Bad customer service as this could be quite costly to me and having the wordpress url makes my site look unprofessional.

http://home.closerthanmost.com/ appears to be working properly. Here’s what I see: http://d.pr/i/PS2Y/4O8QyAvr

Also, all of the links are working just fine, even the Shop link.

When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors”. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.

You can continue to update your site while your custom domain propagates, by going directly to your Dashboard, here:

If you still have trouble viewing the site after 72 hours has passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies

If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache:

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Seems to be working ok now. I will probably transfer the whole domain over to WordPress when my subscription with ipage runs out. It’s only currently being used for the landing page and email. Thanks again.
