That code won’t work on WordPress.com. Here is the info you need in order to use whosamungus in a text widget:

IMPORTANT: hosted WordPress blogs (ie. you have a site like http://yourblogname.wordpress.com) require a slightly different code and the map widget can not be embedded directly in your blog. Contact whos.amung.us for the appropriate code for your blog. If you run your own WordPress installation the normal widget codes will work fine.

Tess thank you so much for explanation.

Is what I already done yesterday, I sent a message in “contact” but nobody answer to me. I will reformulate.

Have you other idea work in WordPress.com hosted?

I don’t really. I have whos.amung.us on several of my blogs. It used to be easier to get the plain code for wordpress.com a few years ago. I’d say that if they don’t answer soon, a few day, contact them again.

    I also use this:

I don’t know if they are more wp.com friendly than whos.amung.us.

Perhaps another volunteer will chime in with more information?
