    Most posts are talking about the heading image, but I am talking about the images in my static homepage.
    This is what they look like in the editor, but as you can see on the homepage they look grey and awful. How do I change this?

    The blog I need help with is knurly.blog.

    Hey there,

    It looks as though this theme makes these particular images slightly opaque by default. To the best of my knowledge the only way to remove/change this styling is through the use of Custom CSS which a feature only available to Premium and Business plan holders. For further information on these plans and their inclusive feature please see the following link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/plan-features/

    If you have one of these plans or are ever interested in upgraded in the future, the following CSS will allow the images to display as they do in the Editor:

    .lodestar-intro .entry-content {
        opacity: 1;
    }

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers

    Hey there,

    It may be that what this code was targeting was not the exact same area that you were trying to change, what exactly are you looking to make happen?

    I look forward to your response,

    Cheers

    Thanks for your reply! It’s to remove a dark overlay on the first panel of the Lodestar theme static homepage.

    My website is https://mbrd360.com/

    Actually, I apologize, it’s a dark grey overlay on the top panel of each page.

    The following should do the trick!

    body:not(.no-header-image) .custom-header-image:before, .lodestar-front-page .custom-header-image:before {
        background: none;
    }

    Let me know, and please be sure to check all pages to make certain this code doesn’t make an unwanted changes.

    Cheers
