I am having trouble adding panels, in one page for my website…can someone please explain how to do it.
The blog I need help with is liveloveentrepreneurship.wordpress.com.
The set up instructions for your theme are here https://wordpress.com/theme/lodestar
You can add more content to your front page by adding panels. Each panel is created from a static page on your site.
This is a one or the other situation. You can create a static front page, and then a separate page for all your published posts. You can do that and the first step is to create two pages and then designate them appropriately.
(1) All posts on the front page which is also called the home page and is the URL of the site by default.
(2) Or a static front page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ and all posts on a different page. In that case you can create a Page for the Home page https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#create-a-new-page first, then create one for your Posts/Blog. Lastly, you designate a static front page.

Custom Menus are a list of common links that are usually displayed as the main navigation for your site. The menu location can vary depending on your theme, and some themes offer additional menus such as social links menus.

Hi Timethief, I just want to have something clarified about the PANELS. From what I see or I think I know, is that you are only allowed up to 4 PANELS based upon the theme? I think Shoreditch has an “unlimited” amount that you can add to the front page, but I wanted to know if I could add a 5th panel to the Lodestar theme?
oishiidesuca – it’s not possible to add more panels to Lodestar. If you want a theme with more than that, Pique includes eight, and as you said, Shoreditch is unlimited because the panels are created using a different technique.
Hi Kathryn, I should have known that, and I shouldn’t have wasted your time although I now know for sure. Thank you!
No worries! Feel free to start a new thread if you need help with anything else.
