Looking to set up HTML form that connects to Google spreadsheet?
-
Hi,
I’m looking to post a survey on our WP blog and collect the results in a way that they can be sorted and counted, etc. One option that I’m looking at is creating an HTML form and exporting the results to a Google spreadsheet. The form would be fairly simple–about 10 text fields. (If I can normalize on whitespace and capitalization, that would be a bonus, but not required.)
Is there an available plugin that would make this easy to do? I’m just technical enough to be dangerous, but not much more of a coder than someone who copies-and-pastes snippets.
Thanks!

There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

FWIW, our blog is a hosted blog that runs the WP software on an external server. Should I be posting my question on a different forum?

Yes. We do not provide support for sites we do not host.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
