lost all of my info and can't find it

  1. I was working on my website earlier, and I was in settings. I changed my url from to just, and I seemed to lose everything I worked on. It used to work just at, so I don't even know why the wp was added. Anyway, I can't even get into my dashboard now and my site doesn't look at all right:
I also don't recognize my log-in info above with all the numbers following my name.
help! please contact me at [email redacted]

  2. Scroll to the footer of that site and locate this link "proudly powered by WordPress"

That's NOT a free hosted WordPress.COM blog and we do not provide support for it here. You are posting to the wrong support forum. and are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names.

We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and not for software installs. If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  3. I have no idea how I ended up on None of this makes sense to me. I set up a site on WordPress, was working on it and all of sudden everything is gone. I really have no idea what to do now or who to contact for help.

  4. This is WordPress>COM and the blog at is NOT hosted by Who do you pay web host it? is hosted by NameCheap and it's a WordPress.ORG install.

  5. right, I paid namecheap for the name, but I had a designer switch it over to WordPress .. she must have put it on .org instead of .com

Do I need to go back to namecheap???

  6. and I still don't understand what happened to the content I was working on .... I have been working on this for months and just today I was kicked out.
