Lost CSS through sheer idiocy
I feel extremely embarrassed about this. I, being a total eejit, hit Activate instead of Preview while browsing through new themes. As you can imagine, when I went back to Imbalance 2, which was heavily customised prior to said idiot move, everything was gone, from the header layout, right down to the page width changes, colour tweaks, spacing tweaks, post layouts, you name it.
I managed some of those changes through lucky fiddling with the numbers on the CSS sheets, over and above the excellent help I got here on the Forum. However, when I’ve gone back to it, I’ve noticed that I cannot ‘import’ the theme sheet like I had before, so that’s me come to a dead halt. I’ve come here, hoping for some kind of answer. Sorry if the terminology is incorrect; hope I’m making myself understood.
Is there any chance in hell of getting the CSS the way it was before I acted like a dolt? Or is it back to square one? Should I just embrace the chance of a blog overhaul?!
Would greatly appreciate any advice.
The blog I need help with is thepatternedplate.com.
I do not help with CSS editing. However, I believe you can always access CSS you saved in the past via the CSS Revisions link at the top right of the Appearance → Customize → CSS panel.
OH MY GOD!!! IT WOORRRKEED!!!!!!
Oh Timethief! If I could throw you a party I would! Thank you so much for such a quick reply. I’ve never even noticed that option (and damn good one it is too!).
I wish I hadn’t wasted an hour trying to figure this out on my own!
