Lost site stats
My site has no Site Stats populating for the past 2 months, although we have continued to post and have traffic. What is wrong?
The blog I need help with is insidestitch.wordpress.com.
I’ve tagged this thread for staff to follow up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting.
I see plenty of traffic on your blog over the past two months, just check https://wordpress.com/my-stats/ it’s just not too visible on the monthly view as previous months were so much higher. Check the weekly or daily views instead.
Also, would you please let me know what you’re using to track traffic at http://insidestitch.wordpress.com/ besides My Stats?
We had the site redirect to verabradley.com/blog in July 2013, which is when the stats on https://wordpress.com/my-stats/ became very low, because they were redirecting. But, they were still showing up on the blog dashboard under Jet Pack > Site Stats. Over the past 2-3 months, it says there is zero activity … even though we’ve had a few post with a hundred plus comments.
Jetpack is no longer running at http://www.verabradley.com/blog/ which is why stats aren’t being collected for that site.
jetpack needs to be active with the Stats module enabled to collect stats.
Ah ha … Okay, I connected Jet Pack with WordPress. Does that mean stats that were missed will be lost? (No ….. !)
(And thank you for your help!)
Yes, without Jetpack active, there is nothing to collect the stats.
I connected Jet Pack, but there are still no stats showing up for the last few days.
On my dashboard, Jet Pack says:
Connected to wordpress.com & User linked to wordpress.com.
Am I missing something?
