I have wordpress installed on my domain, I have just installed a plugin and noticed that the main home page returns a blank page. All other pages on the site display ok when I access them through their links but not the front page of the wordpress site. I would have thought that deleting the plugin would have solved this but no.

the domain is at [ ] . What usually shows up is the front page of my wordpress site but as you can see, there is nothing there. Is there any way of repairing this stupid mistake? I have had this happen before but thankfully it was at the very first stage of the installation and the site had no content so I did a complete reinstall. I really do not want to go through rebuilding the site if I can help it. I would appreciate some very expert advice or help on this..

Hi Dave. From your description, it looks like you have a self-hosted WordPress.ORG blog and are in the wrong forum. Please ask your question at

You are currently in a WordPress.COM forum and our answers will not apply to your situation. Thanks and I hope you find a solution to your problem soon.

There is no FTP access to free hosted wordpress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into them. I’m sorry but that blog is not a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM so we cannot help you with it. WordPress.COM blogs and installs operate on different code. The correct support forum to get support for that site is here > http://wordpress.ORG/support
