Make article background white using CSS

How do I get the background of my text box white in Strange little things theme. I want to leave background pink but want the text box to be white.

I just changed it to comet. If i were to go back to strange little theme…how would i make text block white?

I’m sorry but I don’t help with CSS editing. You will be able to find the correct selector by viewing the Strange little town stylesheet https://wpcom-themes.svn.automattic.com/strange-little-town/style.css

Do you mean you want the content area background to be white? Try adding this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:
#content { background: #fff; } .sticky { background: #eee; }
Note that I made the “.sticky” ones light gray to make them stand out. If you don’t use sticky posts, you probably don’t need that rule.
You will also probably want to adjust the colors a little more. Try doing that with the color palette options on your Appearance → Custom Design → Colors page. See this help page to learn how the color palettes work: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-colors/
