Mapping not working

  1. Hi,

    I have followed the procedure to map a domain name previously purchased with my wordpress blog but it is still not working.
    I have registered the name servers (, ns2...) at my registrar. And when in wordpress, I want to switch to the domain name I bought I have this error message : It looks like the DNS is not set up correctly.
    blog name:
    domain name bought:

    Thanks for your help.

    The blog I need help with is

  2. You need the staff to add a zone record for you - I have flagged this for the staff to help you

  3. It looks like your domain is not pointing to name servers yet. Please contact your domain registrar and ask them to set these name server records for you:

    Let us know if you have any questions!

  4. I don't understand my domain registrar says they are set correctly.
    Here is what my registrar says when testing the server names (sorry it is in French):
    Résultat du test de configuration du serveur de noms:
    Nom de domaine: Détails
    Serveur de noms:
    La configuration des serveurs de noms répond à toutes nos recommandations.

  5. The staff seems to not have added a zone record - I have flagged this again - maybe they will add the zone record for you this time and confirm they have added the record - without a zone record the name servers can't be set correctly

  6. auxclass: Thanks for trying to help !

  7. A few days ago when I published my posts it began inserting the following at the top of the column...I noticed it and now have to remove this section every time I post...what is happening?

    st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) }

    /* Style Definitions */
    {mso-style-name:"Table Normal";
    mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt;
    font-family:"Times New Roman";

  8. That's a completely different issue that is because you're using Microsoft Word. Please search the forum for responses about Microsoft Word.

  9. This just started...I have been publishing for years and it just began a week ago.

  10. @traderbill
    Please see here and please don't post into more than one thread on one issue.

  11. I've just checked again but the name servers aren't propagated yet. Could you please contact your domain registrar and ask them if they could set the name server records for you instead?

    Thank you.
