Markdown Footnote not working in element

  I am trying to include a footnote in a list. However, when I preview my post it does not work. But, if I create a markdown footnote in a <p> element it works just fine. I’ve already tried both.

  Is there a reason why the footnote markdown code is not working in a list?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I did not know the html take would be removed from the title.

  The markdown code for footnotes does not work in a list element.

  Hi there,

  Regular markdown does not work inside block-level elements, like lists, no. This is a limitation of markdown itself.
