may i know how to add my photo on my blog

  1. Hi All, got time out error , i re-post the question again. I want my visitor know how i look like , but not sure how to do it , pls help .

The blog I need help with is

  2. Thank , i manage to add my photo . but not yet appear , it is take some time to update ?

  3. Yes gravatars take time to appear. They tend to appear here first in the forum and then populate throughout the internet.

These are the best practices for uploading your gravatar:

    (1) Prepare the image prior to uploading it and make sure it’s no larger than 128 pixels X 128 pixels square.

    (2) The image filetype has to be either PNG, GIF or JPG. Make sure the file name contains only letters and numbers – no special characters – and make sure all letters are in lowercase.

    (3) Also make sure the image file name has an extension (Example – image.jpg)

    (4) Note that there is a time delay while your gravatar image propagates. If you are experiencing problems then go to the gravatar site and read the FAQs as it contains common questions and answers to them

I hope this helps. Best wishes. :)

  4. it already in my profile page , but not appear in forum pages. I try to re-do again. hope it help.

  5. I would not recommend reloading the gravatar mage as it is unlikely to make any difference. It has been known to take days to appear.

If it's really that important to you to have you photo display right now then simply upload the image into your blog in a draft post and then switch from the visual editor to the HTML editor. Copy the code and place it in a text widget and your image will appear almost instantly in the sidebar.

I would also like to encourage you to use the link I provided to the support documentation and start using the searchbox there.

  6. okay , thank you and noted your msg.

  7. You are doing fine. It takes time to settle in and use the searchbox and navigate through the documentation. The sooner you start the sooner you will feel more comfortable using it. :)

  8. @Paul
Go to this page on your blog > Settings > Discussion

Scroll down the page until you find this heading Avatars
    Find this:
    Avatar Display
    ___Don’t show Avatars
    ___Show Avatars

Remove the checkmark from before "Don’t show Avatars"
Place a checkmark before "Show Avatars"

Now scroll down to "Save Changes" and click.

Hopefully, your avatar/gavatar will start to display soon.

  9. Just follow your step , by default setting the Avatar display was set show Avatars.

When i try to post new msg , it still not display my photo , meaning need to wait for approval.
