McKinley theme: page title and content column width

    Hello,

    I just purchased the Custom Design option for WordPress.com and I’m trying to customize the McKinley theme with CSS (which I’m not very good at…). I’ve looked at previous posts in the forums, but I still didn’t manage to:

    – change size and color of the title of each page (titles appear so big, that they don’t fit on one line despite being very short and I don’t like the grey color)

    – make the main text column wider on the page (the page content is currently crammed in a column at the center of the page, taking less than a third of the page width while I’d like it to occupy a wider portion of the page).

    Thank you for showing me the correct CSS codes. I’d really appreciate it!

    The blog I need help with is multiversum.biz.

    It looks like you’ve already included some of your own CSS rules and one of them is making the content area quite narrow. Find the bit that looks like this:

    .site-content {margin: 2% 30%;}

    and change the number 30 to something smaller. For the title sizes try this:

    h1.entry-title {padding-top: 30px; font-size: 2rem;}

    Thank you so much! That was extremely helpful (and embarrassing that I didn’t find out myself about my mistake with the margins).
