Hi, I activated my meebo yesterday. But I’m having some trouble with it.

How do I get the check in bar in the bottom to show on my wordpress site?

Is it not supposed to display any incoming messages, no matter where I am? Including on my wordpress. I realized it does’nt work if I’m on a HTTPS page, but in my wordpress page, it should work right?

When I am on my wordpress site, it seems the only meebo there is, is a simple chatbox, witch would only allow live blog viewers to write me. What about my facebook connections, witch I can see in other sites that’s not HTTPS.

Why does my facebook connections seem to “fall out” all at once? It’s as if meebo is loosing the connection to facebook once in a while.

And last, but not least, Why is my meebo witch is displayed on my wordpress site, displayed directly in the middle buttom spot of my screen? Should it not be in the sitebar, in a specific spot? As of where I placed the widget when enableing it?

Sorry for any misspelling, I’m Danish ;)

The blog I need help with is mariamiss6.wordpress.com.

Let’s start with this. I’m using Firefox 9 and I see the meebo widget in your right hand sidebar.

Please clear you browser cache and cookies http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050 and try viewing you blog again.

Is your browser version up to date? If not then you can upgrade any browser version here. http://browsehappy.com/

Cleared cache and cookies, using chrome version 16.alot-of-numbers. It said it was updated to latest version, so I suppose 16. is the latest? (It also said 16. in the browse happy link you gave)

Also, I cannot connect it to my hotmail account/live messenger.
I tried to figure it out for my self, by reading just about everything on meebos support site, but really, I found nothing to help me out.

I had one of my friends check it too. I do’nt know the browser she uses, but she saw the chatbox in the same place you did, witch is where it should be.
But when I go to my wordpress blog, the box is showing in mid screen alle the way to the bottom, and it follows if I scroll down.

Also, it works fine by chatting my facebook connections, that is when it does’nt loose contact to my facebook account (and I do’nt know why it does that, since I have facebook open, and logged in to). But only on other pages, meaning, I can only view any messages to me, outside of my blog.

I had one friend go to my blog, and use the chatbox imbedded there, and she got through just fine, but still, I could not see her message if I was looking at the box within my wordpress. Instead I recieved the in the message box outside of my blog, meaning in the box that is added to my browser….

Am I making any sence at all here? ;)

Thank’s for trying to help out, again :)

Sorry, I forgot to explain my Live messenger problem….

When I ask meebo to log into my Live messenger account, it failes to do so, and at the same time it’s logging me off of the actual MSN program, and I can’t get back on to MSN unless I deactivate the account in my meebo connections….

    Helpfull?

I’m sorry but I don’t use this widget so all I know about it is found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/meebo-widget/
What I would do is check at Meebo FAQ and support

    Still nobody?

I got the feeling that my meebo thinks I have two different accounts. As in one fo rmy widget at my blog, and one for my browser…..

I really do’nt think I managed to make two different accounts to meebo, and if I open my meebo account, and check my widgets, my blog-widget is appearing in the account which I’m using to log in….

Today, I actually experienced that my meebo on blog was offline, while I was online in my browser meebo…

    i just ca’nt figure it out….

And still, it totally messes up my MSN. When I open my computer, it automatically logs into MSN, but since I got meebo, and tried to connect it to my MSN live account, it also decided to open a second MSN window, showing all my contacts as offline, simultanously to the other MSN window, showing as it’s supposed to. And if someone contacts me via MSN it comes double, in separate windows…

Also, my meebo never shows, or seem to have, contacts from my MSN live account…

Other than that, I still see my blog meebo in mid screen to the bottom, following when I scroll.

And it is seriously slowing down my browser. Like, really badly slowing it down….

Is there another, and MUTCH better chat widget to get that is at the least well compatible with wordpress, and maybe even gives me the same possabilities in my browser? By that I mean the browser chat that combines my facebook and messenger contacts into the browser chat?
