Menu tabs

  1. Hi, I would like to make a menu that shows the tabs along the top of the home page. At present on my home page there is just one tab 'menu' which you click on and it takes you to a new page with all my menu items. I would like the menu items to just be easily accessible tabs along the home page instead rather than having to navigate elsewhere to access them. Is this possible?

The blog I need help with is universesblogjam.wordpress.com.

  2. You cannot compel any theme to function in a manner it is not designed to function in. We bloggers do not have access to the template files underlying our themes on wordpress.COM hosted blogs and cannot edit them. This is a multiuser blogging platform. All blogs wearing the same theme use the same underlying template found on the live demo site for each theme.

Every theme has a detailed theme description page with set up instructions like this one https://wordpress.com/themes/edin/ and a live demo site like this one https://edindemo.wordpress.com/

Does Customize let me edit HTML?
No. Customize allows you to edit fonts, colors, and CSS only. You can change the appearance of a theme, but not its HTML markup or PHP code. If you require this functionality, please consider moving your blog to a web host that supports theme code modifications. You can read more about why here http://support.wordpress.com/code/, and find a suitable host here http://get.wp.com/hosting/.

If you do not wish to use a theme that displays the links to menu items behind a menu link then switch themes. https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/#switch-themes
