Minnow Theme: infinite scroll for sub-posts

  1. Hey there,

I am working on a blog and before the final content could be uploaded I am setting the layout up.

In the minnow theme is it possible to achieve infinite scroll in the sub posts? What I mean is, if I click on post number 2...3, 4, 5 should load automatically

Also, I would like to mention that I am using the free version and not premium and business yet. I will upgrade if the infinite features are not available in the free one.

The blog I need help with is priyankapadiyar.wordpress.com.

  2. Unfortunately we can't change the number of posts that load during Infinite Scroll.

When the blog page first loads, the number of posts configured in the Blog pages show at most field in the Settings > Reading Settings page will load. Then every time you scroll the same number of posts will load.

This behavior of Infinite Scroll is same across the themes. Also please take a look at the Infinite Scroll support document to learn how it works.

  3. Hi, if you look under Frequently asked questions on the support page that @ references, you will see that when Infinite Scroll is active on your site, it will display 7 posts and then when a visitor nears the bottom of those 7 posts, another 7 will be displayed.

How many posts load at a time?
Infinite Scroll loads seven posts at a time.

Can I change the number of posts that load at a time?
You can’t change the number of posts that load during Infinite Scroll. (The Settings → Reading → “Blog pages show at most” option takes effect when Infinite Scroll is disabled.)
