Mismatch between unique visitor count and views by country?

Checking my stats as the new day just rolled over, the detailed view shows 1 unique visitor has viewed 3 posts on the blog.

However scrolling down to ‘Views by country’, this section lists one view from Australia, one view from Mexico, and one view from the US.

How can this be if I have only had one unique visitor to the page?

I have a screenshot available if required.

The blog I need help with is theblogofnickberry.wordpress.com.

Be aware that our stats are not real time stats. For details see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/ Note the views and viewers take hours to update.

The visitor moved at the speed of light – simple to me

More serious – the page views and country views are almost real time – the visitor count can be delayed by about two hours because of the calculations required to see if the person (computer) has visited your site already today or last week etc.

For another confuse you – when my stats are slow I will sometimes have new visitor counts with no new page views – the visitor count is catching up to the page views

A few hours after midnight the counts should be accurate

Aah, that explains it. Thanks for the help!
