I can’t figure out how to add it. Can you help? You must make some changes to your domain before we can continue by using the tools provided by your domain registrar to add a CNAME record. It should look like this: wheresdee 14400 IN CNAME whereisdee.wordpress.com. Blog url: http://whereisdee.wordpress.com/ The blog I need help with is wheresdee.dom.com. October 12, 2012 at 11:29 am #1039049 whereisdeeMember I am trying to point a sub domain and yes, we own dom.com. October 12, 2012 at 6:45 pm #1039056 bryanvillarinStaff Thanks for your reply. You can map a subdomain at your domain registrar with the steps on this support page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/#instructions-for-mapping-subdomains Your domain registrar might require a slightly different format for the CNAME record compared to our support page, so my best suggestion is to contact them to verify it. Let me know if you have any other questions. Author Posts The topic ‘Missing CName record’ is closed to new replies.
