Missing Title and Comments link
I’d appreciate help with something I haven’t seen before. I’ve just had a new author join the blog, and their first post (which you can see at http://intelligentlyartificial.org) has gone up, but it is missing the title and the comments link. I’ve checked the post out and it looks exactly the same as all the other ones in the blog so far. Comments are enabled, all the tags and html check out. . .I can’t see why this data should be missing.
The only thing that is a little strange is that when I look at the posts in the dashboard, they all give me the option to edit, quickedit, trash and view. . .but with this one the “view” option is missing for some reason. Any suggestions would be welcome since I’m still relatively new to this.
The blog I need help with is intelligentlyartificial.org.
I clicked the link provided above. I arrived on this post:
Title: Games in Non-Game Television Advertisements
There was a “Leave a Comment” link immediately under the title
I clicked the link and left a test comment which is now in moderation.
That seems to have done the trick. I’ve been staring at it for the last three hours in three different browsers with no joy, but now I can see the title and comment. Maybe it was just slow to update? Anyway, thanks for looking in on this.
You’re welcome and please feel free to delete my test comment.
OK, I spoke to soon, so I’m putting this back in the unresolved category. What seems to be happening is when I log into Word Press and access the blog via my dashboard, the title and comments link are absent. When I clicked on the link in the automatic e-mail notifying me of your comment, everything looked as it was supposed to. Never had that happen before. And in the dashboard view everything else looks as it should like.
