Misty Look and Borders around Images

  1. I've read everything possible I can find and tried everything possible. I searched these forums up and down and have now found a solution.

    I DO have the CSS upgrade and I'm just looking to take the border off of my RSS image in the sidebar, bottom right.

    Any ideas?

  2. Here is the code for that bit -
    <div class="textwidget"><p><a href="" rel="alternate" class="imglnk"><img src="" border="0"></a><a href="" rel="alternate">RSS Feed</a>
    I would first try to set border="none" instead of "0"

  3. Okay, I will try both and let you know. Thank you so much!

  4. Nope, no go. Still does it. Arg.

  5. It seems to be something from the theme's CSS, and not necessarily a border, per se.

  6. what happens if you disable the image wrap?

  7. I see this

    #sidebar li.sidebox p img {
    background:transparent none repeat scroll 0 0;
    border:1px solid #CCCCCC;

    Try changing the border to border:none

  8. You guys are way more proficient at CSS than me.

    Thats crazy, I looked all over for it and didn't find it. I'm gonna try it now

  9. IT WORKED!!!! You are amazing!! Thank you thank you thank you thank you.

    You guys are great, I appreciate it so much.

  10. lorenwade - I'm a CSS newbie but I find that I can figure out a lot of stuff by using the developer's toolbar for Firefox along with Firebug. I strongly recommend getting both of those as they are absolutely invaluable when it comes to trying to sort these things out.

    And glad to help.

  11. Sweet. I'm gonna get that. I'm not familiar with firebug.
