I have turned on the mobile theme for my website, but it is not displaying the mobile version on either my iPad or iPhone when visiting in Safari. There is no visible option to switch to the mobile view when visiting the site on either device.
Had a look at the posts on here and keep being redirected to the instructions to turn mobile themes on. Any solutions are apparently well-kept secrets.
Are WordPress.com sites only able to be viewed in mobile format by using an mobile app these days?
Book Lite is a responsive width theme. Responsive width means the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading. Go to > Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme
When I had originally used the mobile theme with a different theme (misty lake) it displayed perfectly on all devices. Having since changed the theme to Book Lite it is clear that I need to rethink that alteration if I want to primarily display on a mobile device.
