Monetizing My Site

    Good evening,
I am currently making pretty good daily views for my site and am looking to monetize, however I cannot find any options for my site.
I was declined from the wordpress ad program because my site was not deemed acceptable, even though it shows no nudity.
Are there any other options that are easy to set up on a wordpress.com site that I can enable so I can start seeing some earnings from my site?
    Thanks a bunch.

  2. Hi hotdiggitydames,

This guide mentions a few ways you can monetize your site:

Although you aren't eligible for WordAds, you could look at including affiliate links or sponsored posts.

Come back to me if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me.
I see it says that if I go premium or business I am automatically accepted to word ads, where as if I stay free I need decent traffic and appropriate content. So does that mean even if my content is deemed inappropriate by WordPress, if I upgrade my plan I can still have word ads?

And also, do u know if there's a way to add a PopAds header code to a wordpress.com site? I've heard a lot of good things about PopAds and would like to try it out on my site.
    Thanks.

  4. Please read this support doc: Mature Content https://en.support.wordpress.com/mature-content/

Blogger initiated third party advertising is not allowed here but there are ways to make money here. Please read: Monetize Your Site https://en.support.wordpress.com/monetize-your-site/

The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it's for blogs on their own domains that have enough traffic to qualify for acceptance into the plan.

    https://wordads.co/faq/

Please read all the FAQs at https://wordads.co/faq/ knowing that only family friendly sites will be considered for acceptance into WortdAds.

The form to report a site ie. this specific site as a mature content site does not scroll down far enough for me to submit it.

  6. Hi hotdiggitydames,

So does that mean even if my content is deemed inappropriate by WordPress, if I upgrade my plan I can still have word ads?

Upgrading your plan wouldn't give you access to the WordAds program — automatic access from the Premium and Business plans wouldn't apply in this case due to the nature of the content.

do u know if there's a way to add a PopAds header code to a wordpress.com site?

PopAds aren't supported on WordPress.com so you won't be able to add the code to your site. If you want to run third party ads, you may want to consider a self hosted WordPress.org site instead:

    Thanks @timethief.
