more blog post visible at the same time?
You can set how many post appear on your front page here > Settings > Reading Fifty posts on a front page is NOT recommended. We have only 3 – 5 seconds before our pages to load before visitors click out. About 50% of those on the internet are on dial up service. Every large image and every embed in every post slows down page loading time and page loading time is a page ranking factor. Savvy bloggers are focused on using strategies to reduce page loading time not to increase it.
Timethief is absolutely right. Let me add that a) endless scrolling down is not at all user-friendly, and b) if you set your front to display 50 posts you won’t only lose impatient visitors or get a lower page rank: if a visitor has a slow connection, their browser may time out before loading all the images and all they’ll see will be nice big empty squares instead of your photos.
And another thing: I clicked on one of your images and the original took about a minute to load (although I have a fast connection), because it’s huge as huge can be: width 5616px, resolution 300dpi, size almost 11MB. You should make copies of your images, downsize them in an image editing application to a resolution of 72 (which is what all browsers display) and a width not exceeding the maximum for the theme your using, and upload and insert those copies. This way you don’t waste your storage space, you save uploading time, you reduce the loading time of your page, and you get better quality too. See here:
