Moving a Domain purchased on WordPress from one WordPress blog to another

  1. Hi

    I purchased the Domain for my WordPress blog -

    I now want to move this Domain to another WordPress blog that I own -

    How can I do this ? Do I have to pay WordPress again ?

    I tried contacting support but it seems that they are closed till Monday and hence I cannot send them a message. I clicked on No, my issue was not resolved and yet there seems to be no button to send the message...only a note saying they are closed till Monday...


  4. You will have to wait until Monday and then send in your support ticket to Staff.

  6. They do work throughout the weekend but have been closing the support link on weekends for months now. I'll flag this thread for their attention.

    I have the exact same query, so rather than doubling up i will just add to this thread hoping that somebody from support reads this. As I'm in Australia our time zones are different.

    I purchased the domain and it has linked itself to my previous wordpress blog. I need it to be linked to

    Thanks Mihir,

    I noticed that macmanx posted mentioned that he resolved your issue. In the meantime the "Support" is disabled so I am unable to contact anybody. Our time difference (we're approx 14hrs ahead) means that one complete business day has lapsed here in Australia already yet it's probably 3am Monday in the USA as we speak, so I'm guessing the wordpress "support" won't be re-activated until 9am US.

    How did you get through to support?

    I knowww. I have been trying too but its not yet Monday in the US. I guess that all you can do is wait...
