Hi there I’d like to move my followers from my wordpress.com to my self hosted blog.
The old blog is https://rentfluff.wordpress.com/ and the new one is http://rentfluff.com/blog/
Thank you in advance for your help.

The blog I need help with is rentfluff.wordpress.com.

Hi there, it looks like you have not installed and activated Jetpack on your blog http://rentfluff.com/blog/ yet (I see that you have Jetpack on some other sites and what looks like a test site for the Rentfluff blog). Could you please make sure that you Jetpack installed, activated, and connected to http://rentfluff.com/blog/ and let me know, so that I can complete the migration?

Hi Jenia and thank you for your reply. We have indeed installed and activated jetpack on rentfluff.com/blog It shows the status as “connected to wordpress.com” Am I missing something?
    Thanks,

Hi there, it looks like you set up Jetpack while still using the temporary site address given by your host. Once you updated your address in Settings > General, it did not get updated on our end through Jetpack, so I did it manually for you.

After that, I went ahead and transferred your email subscribers from rentfluff.wordpress.com to rentfluff.com/blog/ as per your request, so that is all done now.

By the way, I noticed that you are not using the latest version of Jetpack, be sure to upgrade to 2.0.2 :)

Hi Jenia it seems like only a few of our almost 500 followers got moved. Could you please let us know if something went wrong during the transfer?
Thank you for looking into this once again.

Hi there – 152 email subscribers were transferred to your new self-hosted site.

WordPress.com followers can’t be transferred at this time, so you may want to make one more post on your WordPress.com site asking any folks who follow your site in the WordPress.com Reader to sign up for email notifications on your new site instead. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi there, right now we are back to 3 followers on our blog. I’m not sure what is happening. Could you please try to perform the subscribers move once again? Thank you very much for your assistance.

Have you switched the URL of your Jetpack site since we made the subscriber transfer? I now see two different ones in our system:

    rentfluff.com
    rentfluff.com/blog/

If you let me know the correct URL I can try to consolidate everything.

    Thank you.

I’ve synched up the two Jetpack site IDs as requested. Could you please disconnect and reconnect Jetpack from your WordPress.com account and let me know if things look OK? Thanks.

I have disconnected and reconnected jetpack. So far it is showing only 80 followers. Will they slowly increase or is this all we will have until new followers subscribe?
    Thanks again for your help.

Hi we still have only 72 of our previous 500 followers. Any chance of retrieving all of our followers? We appreciate your help.
