    I just started out with my blog- I wanted that tagline to move just under the title. I’ve seen a previous forum discussion and I tried that code in the custom CSS manager plug-in. Apparently it wouldn’t give a damn about what I put in it, probably I dont know how to use CSS manager… Please help me & Thanks in advance!

    Hi @jagwik, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help in the volunteer-based Themes and Templates forum.

    I did take a quick look at your site and give the following CSS a try to move the tagline above the menu in Manifest.

    #siteDescription {
        position: relative;
        top: -130px;
    #mainNav {
        margin-top: 65px;

    I would suggest that you create a Child Theme for Manifest and then make your CSS changes in the child theme so that any updates to the original Manifest theme do not overwrite your changes. Alternately, if you install the Jetpack plugin, you can make your CSS changes in the Custom CSS module at Appearance > Edit CSS and those changes will not be overwritten by theme updates. The Jetpack plugin brings with it a wide variety of other useful features. Have a look at it and see if it would be useful to you.

    thank you so much sir.. would you see posts on those forums too which I’m supposed to be in? just to know if I’d receive help from persons like you.. thanks a lot again sir.

    You are welcome. I get into the forums from time to time and answer some questions, but not consistently at this time. There is a great community of helpful volunteers on the .org forums though.
