    Hi everyone,

I’ve just got some webhosting and exported my blog.
I now have it up and running at http://www.tigerplug.com

Is there anyway that I can redirect readers from tigerplug.wordpress.com over to my new one at http://www.tigerplug.com?

    If so how?

If not, have you got any recommendations?

    All help appreciated!

I’ve seen people recommend removing all of your posts and creating a new one with a link to the new blog.

You have two options for using your wordpress.com blog to re-direct readers from your wordpress.com blog to your new site. In your wordpress.com blog you can either:
    (1) place a post up with a link to your new site in it; or
    (2) place a text widget in the sidebar with a link to your new site in it.

This describes the domain mapping option http://faq.wordpress.com/category/domain-mapping/
The original poster of this thread did not have domain mapping upgrade.
