Hello. I was wondering if we could add multiple users to our one blog. Our blog is about computer information and we want to know if each writer can have a login for the same blog. – Thanks
The blog I need help with is updateproductions.wordpress.com.
Please see these guides:
inviting Contributors, Editors, or Authors to contribute to your blog
The invitation will allow them to open a WordPress.com account if they do not have one, but yes they will each need to have a WordPress.com account.
I am trying to set up a blog for about 15 members of a group. I would like each person to have access to the blog and to be able to contribute pages and posts as well as comments. I read something about “inviting up to ten people.” Am I limited to ten? I don’t want the blog to be public. So I need to have each of them sign up for Word Press ? Set my page as what, private? Protected? And why does the word “private” or “protected” appear on the title of my static page?
There is a top line that shows all of my categories and I don’t want it there. Thanks for helping me.
Storytorm, follow the guide that timethief linked to. You are referring to this instruction where you type in the email addresses, “Invite up to 10 email addresses and/or WordPress.com usernames, separated by commas. Those needing a username will be sent instructions on how to create one.” that just limits you to the number of email addresses you can insert at one time. Just follow up with the other members after you send that invitation. I have more than 10 in one of my groups and that’s how I did it.
