Music Player widget

The music player widget on my site doesn’t work for Firefox or IE, but works fine for Chrome. What am I doing wrong?

The blog I need help with is

Please make sure you’re running the latest versions of Firefox and IE on your computer. Go to to upgrade your browser.

I wasn’t running IE9, and that seemed to work for that browser. However, with Firefox I had already downloaded and installed the latest version.

I use Chrome exclusively, so the only reason I found out about the music player not working is a Firefox user telling me. So I can confirm it isn’t just me.

The black bar of the player shows up, but the songs do not load. Thanks for all your help.

Please forward the user that has this issue to our contact form. This way we can better troubleshoot his/her problem.

Note that if your current browser does not support HTML5 audio for your uploaded format, or Flash Player is not installed, a direct download link will be displayed instead of the player.

Well, like I said, it’s not just the other users, I was able to replicate the issue myself when I installed and ran Firefox.

I don’t know if Firefox doesn’t support HTML5 audio, but it seems odd that it wouldn’t. Flash player is installed.

In any case, the player shows up, you can look at it yourself if you run Firefox. It’s just the songs don’t load as with Chrome or IE. Don’t know about Safari, as I don’t run a Mac. But since a lot of users use Firefox, I would prefer that it worked for that browser as well.

We’ve found that there’s a glitch with Firefox not displaying this widget correctly. The player works correctly in Chrome and other browsers. We’re working on fixing the problem in Firefox.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Thank you. Glad to hear it’s being worked on.

The problem has been resolved. Thank you.
