Mutliple Themes

This one may have to be a two-parter. There’s a few sites I visit which uses the wordpress blog engine for their blogs, and they have multiple themes the user can load. I think it would be really cool to do something like this to my blog, and to set defaults based on topic, as well as allow the user to be able to do this as well.

There’s both an aesthetic and a practical reasoning behind this. the aesthetic one is that I’d be able to make themes based on the cours of topic – for example, having an area to the left of the headline specific to that particular posting. The practical one – something not changeable by the user, but by the writer – is the ability to create a particular layout for different output devices – one for WebTV/Windows MCE users, one for palm/cell phone users, one for print, etc.

Is there an easy way to do both types? If not, could someone give me some suggestions for workarounds? IU am trying to get all of my sites under the same themes. Thanks. :)

That’s a theme switcher. The standard one for WordPress is very buggy and works on very few themes.

    That stinks. Any other options?

Also, where would I find out how to use it?
