    Thank you for your response.

I think I have narrowed the problem.

When I open my blog I do not see any pictures and the formatting is gone and the entire screen is red-orange.

When another person in my house tries to open my blog from her computer, she has the same problem. She can’t see any pictures on my blog and the entire formatting is screwed up.

We are using a wireless internet connection in Gaza City, Palestine.

My friends in the USA tell me they can see my blog and it looks normal. My friends in Gaza tell me they can see my blog and it looks normal.

So the problem must be with the wireless internet connection. I am trying to find someone at the internet provider’s office in Gaza to speak with.

    Does this sound right?

I tried to upload a screen shot but can’t figure out how to do it. I hope my description is helpful.

Hi there – the site looks fine from this end as well. Contacting your ISP sounds like a good route, since the issue is specific to their network.

At the same time, you could also try a traceroute following the instructions for Windows here:

    Advanced Browser Troubleshooting

If you post the results of the traceroute it might help us see where the trouble lies.

I doubt you got “hacked” but I would suggest changing your password, just in case!! :P

Please do exactly what Staff ie. kathrynwp has requested.

Hi Kathrynwp —– Thanks for this advice. I will ask my young friend at home to help me do as you have requested about a traceroute. I am 60 years old and don’t find it as easy to use the computer as my younger friends.

I am now sitting at another location in Gaza — outside of the house where my troubles with the blog were first noticed about a week ago. Using my same laptop but a different wireless connection, I am able to access my blog normally and I don’t see any problems.

So I think we have narrowed the problem to the wireless server at the house in Gaza. We will run the traceroute and send you another message. Thank you.
