my domain expired in 08/05/2012, and I am trying to pay for it, but its not giving me an option.
When I click “buy now” in the store, it says ” this domain is already being used by a wordpress.com blog..
Well of course, that blogger using that domain is ME. So how do I get my domain back?

    Blog url: http://www.worthfood.com/
    thanks

The blog I need help with is aymanalrefai.wordpress.com.

Unfortunately, worthfood.com expired on May 8 and has since been purchased by someone else.

Two of my blogs that I specifically got help to make sure they did not expire have been removed from my dashboard. I need them back, including content ASAP.

securechainofcustodyrelocations.com expired on March 27 and has since been returned to the public market. You can re-register it by adding it via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.

box-lessmover.com expired on April 17 and has since been purchased by someone else.

I’m astounded by how many bloggers choose to allow their domains to expire and don’t have a clue as to what the consquences of that neglect are. I’d like to see all domain issues coralled into a new sub-forum exlsuively for domain related issue. Is that possible?

That may very well be possible, though I’m hoping that our new front-facing expiration will significantly decrease the amount of folks allowing their domain to expire.

For a period of time prior to expiration, the owner will see the notice on the front of their blog, followed later by all users on the blog, then followed later by all visitors to the blog.

Most of the influx right now are users who have just now discovered that their domain is expired due to the new notice.
