My password no longer works on Chrome or FF

    my password is no longer valid on FF or Chrome – message comes back is that it is invalid– basically
    wp keeps doing that shaking thing when I try to login to wp.com
    i disabled profile managers and password managers for both browsers
    flushed the cache, ran CC with the delete saved passwords
    created a new password thru WP
    but I still cannot get in except through Opera
    this is both extremely annoying and very disconcerting
    what exactly is going on?
    and why does it work for Opera, a browser I rarely use, but not the 2 browsers I use all the time? Does this have to do with their Orwellian profile managers that nobody wants or needs?
    First time in 4 or 5 years (since I have had this blog) that this has happened.
    Please help! I just want to be able to use a brower to log into WP. I dont want to have to hire an IT team to help me log in, for goodness sake!

    Super unusual. Have you tried restarting your computer and reinstalling the browsers?
