My posts doesn't get publiced on Facebook
I have two blogs, Insikt (kristinasa.wordpress.com) and Insights & More (kristinasaid.wordpress.com). My posts from Insights & More doesn’t automatically get publiced on the Facebook page that has the same name, I have to do that manually, but my posts from Insikt get published without any problem. Why is that? I have used the share function. I have twitter as well in Insights & More that works properly, but the connection to FB doesn’t from there.
The blog I need help with is kristinasaid.wordpress.com.
I have used settings – sharing. Now it seems that it doesn’t publice on twitter either. It doesn’t publice automatically on FB, it says that I have to refresh the connection over and over and when I does that it says error. It must be somthing tecnically wrong with this funtion. I don’t think the forum will be able to solve it. Is there no more personal assistance??
It says like this on a published post (my latest and it hasn’t been published to twittter as well…):
Before you hit Publish, please refresh your connection to make sure we can Publicize your post:
Refresh connection with Facebook
and when i does that it says: Malformed request. Please go back to the previous page and try again.
This happends all the time and nothing get published…
1. Try flushing your FB cache but disconnect from FB first http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/
2. Try the full reconnect procedure again detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.
3. See also publicize troubleshooting http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#troubleshooting
Note: RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti can be used for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

Thanks timethief. The connection to twitter seems to be working again, I don’t know about Facebook. I guess I should be able to schedule a post and it should be published on Facebook from both of my blogs even though I’m not logged in at FB?
Scheduled posts http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/ DO NOT actually appear on the blog until someone visits the blog after the scheduled time of publication. For an explanation see what Staff (macmanx) has said here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/scheduled-posts-not-working?replies=16#post-612910
Ok. And I saw this on Publicize http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#troubleshooting:
“Multiple connections to the same account
As of right now you can not make multiple connections to the same account. This means you can only make one connection to the same Facebook account, Twitter username, etc.”
Does this mean that I can’t have two blogs to the same FB-page?
This means you can only make one connection to the same Facebook account
The problem is that I don’t know what they mean with connection…
So to put it clear, do they mean that I can just have one wordpress blog to my account?
Multiple connections to the same account
As of right now you can not make multiple connections to the same account. This means you can only make one connection to the same Facebook account, Twitter username, etc. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#additional-information
Well, It was just that quote I myself posted and which I didn’t understand as I tried to say above… I dont think timethief that we can get any further and I’m thanking for giving me of your time and try to help me out.
I have closed down the sharing now except twitter that stopped working for a while. I will see what happends tomorrow, if it’s ok, and then continue with the FB-connection again with just one of the blogs to see how it works out.
I hope this works out for you in the end.
