my reader is not working, please help me! Thank you.

    The Reader is working for me, this could be a browser issue, and so you might want to try these suggestions:

    1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at please try upgrading or switching first.

    2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode.

    3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at

    (a) Try clearing your browser’s cache

    If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:

    (b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled

    (c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.

    (d) Try enabling HTTPS:

    Add both * and * to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.”

    4. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. If it’s not then go to and download and install the latest version of flash.

    5. Try using another browser.

    6. If you are not successful let us know:
    (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to
    (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary
    (c) Exactly what any error reports you receive state.

    Make sure that you have the latest versions of your other browsers and make sure you separately install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player ( for each of your other browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, et cetera; Google Chrome has a special version of Adobe Flash Player built-into it already, and so you do not have to worry about that for Google Chrome.

    Thank you for sharing those extra browser troubleshooting steps :) , I will try to remember to add those steps the next time that I try to help someone with a possible browser issue, but who do I cite/list/credit as the source of that information?

  10. Yeah, I know ;) , I just try to use what ever username a person is using at the time or whatever name they sign-off(?) with; but I will try to remember to just use Timethief every time, if you want me to. ;)

  12. Both of heartafire's blogs appear to be working fine, and there doesn't seem to be a duplicate blog issue at play here.

    @heartafire please let me know if this issue continues for you, and if so, which browsers (and versions) you've tried, and exactly what happens when you go to and if it differs from when you go to (with https://).

  13. Thank you so must for your response. I am no longer having a problem with the reader. I did switch browsers and that helped, now it appears I am able to access my reader with all browsers.
