My text isn't showing when I post?

  1. When I start to post my text is white and I can't read it. I can highlight the words and I am able to read them but once my text is no longer highlighted I can not read the post. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be going on? I have been wanting to post all morning and I haven't been able to because of this issue.

  2. If you just have one row of buttons on the New Post page, click the far right one to reveal the second row. 4th button from left on 2nd row controls text colour.

  3. I am having the same issue... the "far right button" is the "close tags" option, which does nothing. Sitting dead in the water... please help!

  4. I just tried that. I clicked on the close tags button but nothing changed it just sat there.

  5. A lot of people are having this issue. What browser are you using? Try the Cookie Dance: log out, clear browser cache and cookies, restart computer.

  6. I just deleted my cookies and restarted. It still isn't working. Guess I will have to wait and see if it gets fixed.

  7. You can use an offline blog editor when this happens: Windows Live Writer comes very highly recommended, and it's free.

    I have a feeling I'll be recommending it a lot today.

  8. But why has this just started? I had no problems before 8 am Eastern time, but after that I experienced the above listed problems: white text on a white background. Also, I clicked on the help button, top right, and it didn't work. I've done the "cookie dance" and no difference. I've used Google chrome since I've had my account and this is the first issue.

  9. Because staff are tinkering to change the way WordPress works. There are always glitches like this for awhile when they change something.

  10. I read somewhere else that if you use SonicWall for your security there may be an issue. Contact your IT person (or sonicwall settings) and add & to the safe list. I am trying this now and will let you know if it works.

  12. It does look like they are changing something. I just saw a subscriptions link at the top of my home page that wasn't there before. I just wish it could get fixed so I can post.

  13. Nevermind... the SonicWall thing didn't work. still having issues. :(

  14. We are hearing some reports regarding SonicWall firewall blocking our script files, causing issues on dashboard.

    Could you test these links and see if any of them are blocked?

    If you are having a problem viewing one of these CSS files, that also means you are probably unable to access the JavaScript files which are needed for many of Dashboard functionality to work. Please work with your IT department at work/school to make sure they are unblocked.
