My widgets only appear one my 'about page'…Any ideas?
-
Hey :)
I am relatively new to blogging, so bear with me…
I can’t seem to make my widgets appear on my ‘new posts’ page (not a static page, by the way), but they all seem to show up on my ‘About’ page (which IS a static page). I’ve tried to use the ‘visibility’ settings in a few different ways to see if I perhaps made a mistake there, but thus far; no dice….
Also, I have a vague memory from when I first started this blog of clicking something I shouldn’t have in a very over-caffeinated act of desperation, and now when I go into “customize”, nothing actually shows up among the ‘widgets’ options, save for the message; “You are customizing Widgets”. Not even a side-bar kind of thing.
I get around this by simply activating the widgets in the WP admin. section, so if I can’t fix this I’ll just work around it, but it would be great to be able to supe-up the rest of my blog.
Thanks ahead of time for any ideas! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Widgets display on all “static” pages with the Autofocus theme, but not on posts or archives pages.

If you click on “Primary Sidebar” link below the “You are customizing widgets” message you should see the widget area extend on a black background to the left. There you can edit the active widgets, add new widgets, etc.

Oh, my gosh–that was so simple I can’t believe I missed that! Thank you so much for your help. Have a nice day :)
