NAME SERVER problem

    I have had http://www.spacemakeplace.com since 2013 and have had no issues until the end of last week when I started seeing the following message instead of my website:

    “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”

    I have contacted my host HostPapa.com and the Domain Name Registrar “WILD WEST DOMAINS, LLC”. WILD WEST DOMAINS, LLC are listed as the Domain Name Registrar on Who.is.net but they told me that WordPress is actually the real Registrar. They have both confirmed that my website is valid and both suggested contacting support at WP.com for help resolving my problem. I have sent an email to support@wordpress.com but have not received a reply or a confirmation of receipt.

    It appears that at the end of last week somehow the NAME SERVER settings have changed/defaulted to:

    Name Server: NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    Name Server: NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

    I need to have the settings changed back to:

    ns1.hostpapa.com
    ns2.hostpapa.com

    I’ve tried following the instructions on “Change Name Servers” at https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/ but my domains/manage page does not have the same options described.

    This error is also preventing me from receiving emails associated with my website which i urgently need. Can you please help me make this update/change as soon as possible.

    I just worked out the domain expired (www.spacemakeplace.com) as the notification went into my junk mail. Please can you -re-associate the domain with my spacemakeplace.wordpress.com account so I can pay my renewal as my site is currently down and my email is down.

    Hi there! Thanks for getting in touch.

    While your domain was initially registered with WordPress.com, that’s no longer the case – you must have moved it to another registrar. You can still use the domain name with your WordPress.com site, but you’ll need a paid Domain Mapping upgrade to do that:

    https://wordpress.com/domains/add/mapping/spacemakeplace.wordpress.com

    After the upgrade is added, since the domain is already pointed at our nameservers, you’ll be able to use it almost immediately, as well as add additional DNS records for your e-mail, etc.

    sadly that is not true we spoke to wild west domains and they said you (WORDPRESS) still have control of it. please can you look into it again..
