Need to remove blog

    I need to remove the blog: https://globalsharesblog.wordpress.com/ It has been set to private but I need it destroyed as its impacting our SEO. Help!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

    Here’s some more information on how to go about deleting your site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

    In this case, it’s WP Admin > Tools > Delete Site. As the post mentions, be certain that you want to completely get rid of the blog first before deleting – you won’t be able to use the same address for another WordPress.com site after deletion, so it’s worth considering the other options listed.

    Hi, I don’t have this option when I press Tools.

    All it says is:

    Tools

    Press This
    ress This is a bookmarklet: a little app that runs in your browser and lets you grab bits of the web.

    Use Press This to clip text, images and videos from any web page. Then edit and add more straight from Press This before you save or publish it in a post on your site.

    You can publish posts using emails with the Post by Email feature. To enable this visit your My Blogs page and create a secret address.

    No problem :)

    Don’t click on ‘Tools’ – just hover over it, and another menu should appear on the right hand side. At the bottom of that menu is where you’ll find ‘Delete Site’.

    There’s nothing appearing to the right of the sidebar? Hmm…

    If you do click on ‘Tools’, another menu should appear beneath it in the sidebar – ‘Delete Site’ also appears at the bottom there, give that a try?

    No. the above ‘Press this’ info comes up. Can you see the site owner details at all? perhaps I don’t have the full access…

    The option should be in the sidebar when you hover over or click ‘Tools’, not in the main page.
