Need to transfer domain back from godaddy to wordpress
-
Yesterday I purchased hosting through Godaddy. I was unsatisfied with their service, cancelled, and would now like to switch my domain back to the free wordpress hosting. When I go to the domain section under settings I am directed to another site that requires login and password, which i have no idea what they are.
ANY HELP?!

Read about domain mapping: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/
WordPress.com does not support registrar transfer. All the other details is covered in the support page.
Thats all i can say.

@sst127, all you have to do is go into the domain management panel and point the domain back to the wordpress.COM servers – sort of the reverse of what you did when you pointed it toward godaddy.
One thing is that it can take up to 72 hours for a DNS change to work its way through the internet name server system, so if you had pointed at godaddy yesterday, it might be another day or so before you are able to point it back at wordpress.COM’s servers.
If you have problems, contact staff directly and then should be able to help you out with it: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ .
