Working to transfer austxrealestate.com to atxre.com

I followed the steps and received email confirmation that the export and import was completed.

However, a portion of column 2 and all of column 3 did not transfer. What do I need to do to enable this transfer?

Also, I’d like to make atxre.com my main blog page and would like to remove the wordpress.com from its site name. I paid for this previously for austxrealestate.com and wanted to transfer this to atxre.com . How do I do this?

Thanks in advance for your assistance

The blog I need help with is austxrealestate.com.

The only way to remove wordpress.com from your blog’s URL is to purchase a domain name. That being said, if you do not hire a web host and download a free software install from wordpress.org, but instead continue to have your blog free hosted by wordpres.com

the wordpress.com TOS and policies still apply to it – nothing changes in that regard.

    Before Upgrading
The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable the permission to use advertising, any kind of prohibited code, or upload additional themes and plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and must still abide by our Terms of Service accordingly.

I’m sorry all that bold lettering above ^ was not intended – I left a tag open.

You are indicating 2 sidebars and that content is not in the export files. The links must be separated exported and imported. All the other data in the text widgets must be manually moved (copy and paste).

Note: This will ONLY export your posts, pages, comments, categories, and tags; uploads and images may need to be manually transferred to the new blog. The current version of a WordPress.org installation gives you an option to import uploaded files. http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/

    I have purchased http://www.atxre.com
I also have the domain reserved through wordpress.com
I have previously paid for the upgrade to austxrealestate.wordpress.com to change it to austxrealestate.wordpress.com
I was wondering if this upgrade could be transferred from austxrealestate.wordpress.com to atxre.wordpress.com

I’m also still trying to figure out why 2 of the columns did not transfer from austxrealestate.wordpress.com to atxre.wordpress.com

    Thanks for your help.

I explained wahy the data in the widgets in the sidebars will not be transfered through export of the contents. If you export the Links out then you will have a file you can use to import them in with. However, any contents in text widgets must be copied and pasted – it will not be in the export file. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/new-blog-address-transfer?replies=4#post-436188
