New Military Wife Blog

  1. New blogger here! Just plugging my new blog called "The Not So Silent Ranks". It's pretty much a blog on my life as a military wife. I would love feedback if any of you are so inclined. Thanks for looking!

The blog I need help with is

  2. there is no url link to it , theres nothing in your wordpress blog

  3. Yikes...sorry about that.

    Here is the link

  4. ok as i said i like your blog , harry

  5. Great start! I've never heard of "wearing rank" before. Very interesting.

  6. it can only happen America , i think its to help you climb the social ladder or to keep you of it

  7. Yeah, the way I look at it is you should be proud if your military spouse does well in his/her career and moves up the ranks, but don't let it define your social life...let alone your attitude!

  8. Social climbers only exist in America? Ever read Vanity Fair? ;-)

  9. I'm looking forward to reading more! I'm not in the military or married to a service member, but I've worked for the DoD as a contractor for the last 3 1/2 years. It's always interesting to get the family members view point! Will definitely subscribe to your RSS.

  10. Thanks crimmins! And everyone else :-) I just put up a new post, so feel free to check it out. I really appreciate everbody's comments, they really help me to actually get these thoughts out into words. Off to check out everyone else's blogs...

  11. You need to link your username to your account. It makes it easier to find your blog!

  12. @sammib45, you started your blog on the 20th march and there are no posts in it

  13. @harry the link to the blog is in the 2nd post in this thread.

  14. I like her writing - opens a whole new world to me.

  15. @momfog, i must keep my spec's on :)

  16. Nah it's my fault :-) I will link it to my username to make it easier to find. I am also trying to get up the nerve to put it on facebook...might get more views. Thanks everyone!

  17. @sammib45, it's the easy way to get to the site's and after me being told by momfog :(

  18. facebook works, but it is nerve-racking the first time. Will they like it? Will they hate it? Will they ignore it? Will they keep reading? The answers, of course, are yes, yes, yes, and yes. :-)

  19. I started out automatically posting to facebook. I've found that I either get "likes" or positive comments. From the analytics I can see that people are being driven to read it from there, but not necessarily responding there. However, if you want to spark a discussion, it's definitely a good place to start. Plus, facebook is usually full of your supporters (friends and family), so it's as good a place as any to get people reading, responding and giving constructive criticism if that's what you want!

  20. is face easy to set up

  21. yep.
